Real To Ethereal
“Real To Ethereal” is an art exhibition which serves as a partial retrospective of the artist, SAMITA BASU’s career - tracing her work, in style and substance, evolution over time and the path it has taken in the last 14 years - from black and white charcoals to the most vivid and vibrant of pastel colours. from realism to abstraction and the many spaces in between.
Other than showcasing her work, Samita’s primary objective is to raise funds for two charitable organizations actively and committedly engaged in activities closest to her heart – as a kind of homecoming gift to the city where she started her artistic journey 35 years ago.
